Vim Scripts

This area of the site includes some plugins I've written for the VIM text editor. If you don't know what that is, this area of the site probably won't be of much interest to you, but suffice to say that this entire website was written using VIM, including:

• All of the textual content,
• The home-written python scripts that generate the site framework including all the menus etc,
• The the calculators,
• Some of the 3D CAD models (e.g. these ones),
• The embedded C code used in some of the projects I've done (e.g. my automatic vacuum cleaner starter for cordless power tools).

These are the major plugins I've written for VIM:

• Bandit Colour Scheme: a colour scheme for Vim.
• EasyColour Plugin: colour schemes made easy!.
• TagHighlight: highlighting of typedefs, #defines, enumerated names etc in Vim.

I am a hobbyist metalworker and woodworker. I work as an electronic design engineer and spend most of my working days in front of a computer so I enjoy having the opportunity to use my hands and make things in my spare time. I particularly enjoy making tools as I can then use them on other projects. This website showcases some of the things I've made.
